Pre-Engagement
Before entering the space, a display presents participants with a series of ethical questions regarding AI. They are actively invited to take these prompts inside and ask them directly to the AI.
Spatial Architecture
The installation is built as a confined, triangular room. Two converging walls act as projection screens, while the rear wall is a physical mirror.
Visual Distortion
A camera positioned at the apex of the room tracks the participant. External projectors cast a real-time, distorted version of the participant's face onto the two angled screens.
Audio Feedback Loop
Participants speak their ethical questions aloud and hear their own voices echoed back, layered with the responses from the voice AI system.
Reflective Dissonance
When participants turn around to face the mirror, they simultaneously see their true physical reflection and the distorted digital outputs on the adjacent screens, highlighting the contrast between human reality and AI interpretation.
